It will never be the same!

My baby girl leaves today! Flying from the nest.(literally)I know she'll be back but she will be different. She will have had deep encounters with God that she won't be able to fully explain. She will have seen deep poverty that few in America will ever know and then have to figure out how to live back in great wealth and not forget what she's seen. She will have seen God do crazy miracles. She will have had to trust God to "A whole nutha level" :)and He will be faithful. She will have had to figure out how to live with girls. She will be changed forever.

Psalm 37:4

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

God is doing this. I have prayed since she was born, that she would love God deeply and serve him. I am so thankful and blessed.

  2. I too will be praying for you all!!! I am so very excited for Amber for the journey that awaits her!!! I am also praying for you on this journey!! A mom's hear is something special when it comes to her kids!!! Hugs, and your prayer for your kids mimics mine, so I am encouraged to see how God works in Amber's and your hearts together!!!

  3. Her picture is on my desk in plain sight. As Ken still struggles to find work and I try to finish my degree, I know I can offer prayer :~) So, she is in my thoughts and prayers each day as I start my day looking at her face, trusting that God is going to do BIG things in her life as she is blessed, and blesses others. Be still and faithful Mommy Bear; I know you are human and miss your baby. Here is a HUGE hug (((((HUG)))))! Love you! ~21st Century~
